NEW YORK, Nov. 07, 2016 -- The Wall Street Journal will keep subscribers informed on Election Night with live reports across all platforms highlighted by deep analysis, smart graphics and breaking news alerts. The newsroom will have up-to-the-minute reports on voter returns for all races, including: Presidential, Governorships, House and Senate seats, as well as local ballot initiatives.

Special Election Night features will focus on must-know news and insights, including:
- Live coverage. The Journal’s award-winning political team to report on national, state and local elections as they develop.
- Social media: Breaking news live tweets and Facebook updates through the night, streaming analysis on Facebook Live, capturing scenes from campaign headquarters on Instagram Stories, and publishing a special Snapchat Discover edition.
- Podcasts: "What's News" will feature extensive election news coverage from WSJ editors and WSJ "Potomac Watch" hosted by the Journal’s Editorial Board will highlight political commentary and analysis.
- Graphics: A special Election Day graphic with an automatically updating national map that reflects real time data and results on all races. Users will be able to track returns state by state, in an easily digestible format. There will also be additional live graphics that offer applicable information on exit polling and also a historical perspective by illustrating results from past elections.
On Thursday, November 10th, the Journal will wrap its election coverage with “WSJ: Opinion Live: What Happens Now?”, a special WSJ+ event featuring Editorial Page Editor Paul Gigot, Opinion Columnist Peggy Noonan, Editorial Board Member Joseph Rago, and Editorial Board Member Kimberley Strassel. Together they will discuss all of the election results and offer insights on what those results mean for the future of politics, policy, the economy and the country.
