‘Wayward Pines’ Season 2, Episode 8 Spoilers: “Pass Judgement” – Theo Races Against Time to Contain an Escaped Abbie Leader, Attack in Town Imminent

‘Wayward Pines’ season 2’s episode 8 will follow Theo as he races against time to track down and contain an escaped Abbie leader after the town is threatened with an impending attack.

The synopsis posted on TV Guide stated, “Theo and Hassler team up to track down the escaped Abbie leader; Xander presses Rebecca about her condition; and Jason discovers something devastating about Kerry.”  Theo (Jason Patric) races against time to track down a runaway Abbie to avoid a potential attack on the town of Wayward Pines and its citizens.

In the preceding 'Wayward Pines' episode, entitled “Time Will Tell", Theo attempts to communicate with the captured Abbie leader named Margaret believing that she is highly intelligent and is capable of communing with regular humans. Megan (Hope Davis) remains skeptical throughout the process.

Margaret is then discovered to be more dominant over male Abbies following numerous tests. Hassler (Tim Griffin) confirms this saying that she is their leader explaining why Abbies are flocking at the fence.

Jason’s decision to eliminate all Abbies makes him shoot the captured male ones in the head. Before he could shoot Margaret, Kerry (Kacey Rohl) steps in and pleads for him to stop so Theo could continue his assessment on Abbies. Megan is then left alone with Margaret but the latter manages to escape her cage by using Theo’s lock code, slashing Megan on her escape.

According to Hall of Fame Magazine, Margaret has already witnessed the murder of her kin and proves to be a great threat to the humans in town should she return to extract her revenge.

In the incoming episode, Theo and Hassler will work together to hunt Margaret down. Episode 8’s promo opened to the team worrying that Margaret’s escape will lead to dire consequences. A shot of Megan bleeding on the facility floor is flashed and they are prompted to race against time to track down the escaped Abbie.

Although Jason insists that the soldiers will be able to keep the threat at bay, Theo demands that they should tell all the residents of Margaret’s escape. Margaret is seen pursued by soldiers as she jumps roofs and hides in the woods.

‘Wayward Pines’ season 2’s episode 8, entitled “Pass Judgement”, is scheduled to air on Fox on July 13, 2016.
