Xiaomi is expected to update one more smartphone line before wrapping its 2021, and it would be the Xiaomi CC11. The device has received certification recently, revealing some of its technical specifications and suggesting that it is launching soon.
Xiaomi CC11 specs: What to expect
The Xiaomi CC11 was recently spotted receiving its TENAA certification (via MySmartPrice) and revealed that it would sport a slightly larger screen than its predecessor. It is listed with a 6.55-inch display and it could be the same screen size for both the base model and the Pro version. The device has an OLED panel with Full HD+ (1080 x 2400) resolution.
Dimensions listed in the Xiaomi CC11 certification also suggest the upcoming device will be larger with measurements 160.53 x 75.72 x 6.81mm. The listing also includes a series of photos that should give tech fans enough idea about the design changes.
The rear camera bump looks slightly similar to Mi 11 and the phone also has the updated logo of Xiaomi. The Mi brand no longer appears on the back of the device following the company’s decision to simply name its products with “Xiaomi.”
Color options mentioned in the document are quite extensive, including red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple, black, and white. It is unclear, though, if Xiaomi is going to offer all these on both the Xiaomi CC11 and Xiaomi CC11 Pro.
Xiaomi CC11’s SoC was not named in the certification. But the listing says the phone’s CPU frequency is 2.4GHz, leading to speculations that it could be powered by the Snapdragon 778G or Snapdragon 780G.
There are three RAM configurations listed, including 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB, while the storage options are 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The Xiaomi CC11 certification says it will sport four cameras and will support 4K video recording.
A slight improvement can be expected on the battery specs. The Xiaomi CC11 is listed with a 4150mAh component.
Xiaomi CC11’s global version could be ‘Note 11’
Previous Xiaomi CC phones were only made available in China, so it could be the same case for the Xiaomi CC11 series. However, GSMArena suggests the phones could get a global version named “Note 11,” a similar strategy that the company did in 2019.
