In 2021, I earned my Ph.D. in Information and Communication Technology from the University of Trento, Italy, with a thesis titled "Cognitively Guided Modeling of Visual Perception in Intelligent Vehicles". As part of the EU Horizon 2020 Dreams4Cars Research and Innovation Action, my research focused on exploring how the cognitive capabilities of the human brain can inform the design of artificial driving agents with human-like performance. Following my doctorate, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the same institution from 2021 to 2024. Since 2024, I have been a research fellow in the Department of Computer Science at University College London. I am currently working on leveraging large language models to achieve trustworthy collaboration in multi-agent systems where humans interact with artificial agents.
