It would appear that Apple is intent on continuing on the road to disaster with the design of the iPhone 11. At least, this is what the leaks have been pointing towards, and this spells doom for the lineup. Not only will the smartphone try to stand out from the crowd with a truly ugly rear camera design, but the Cupertino firm will likely spin it as a good thing. For how long with the cult members remain unflinchingly loyal after this?
There is no denying that the rear camera design that was brought up by the leaks involving the iPhone 11 are ugly, Forbes notes. The publication even coined the term “stove top” for the camera bump that the leaked images have been released to the web showcase. To be fair, it certainly looks the part with the rather odd position of the lenses and the way that the bump resembles an actual stove top.
Of course, Apple will likely have its own weird reason for deciding to go with this option, and despite all the odds, its legion of followers will still purchase the iPhone 11. There is even a good chance that other smartphone manufacturers will try to get in on the action by replicating the design. They certainly did so with the iPhone X notch despite reviewers calling it ugly. Why would this case be any different?
For those who do care about their iPhone 11 not looking like a budget camera phone from the mid-2000s, however, this is not looking too good. It would seem that Apple is fully committed to applying the design to all of its handset lineup for the next generation.
One can only hope that these leaks for the iPhone 11 are all fake. At the very least, there is still time for Apple to make some changes to salvage the situation.
