macOS Sonoma 14.3.1 Rolls Out, Squashing Annoying Text Alteration Bug

Apple released macOS Sonoma 14.3.1 Thursday, a modest upgrade to the operating system that debuted in September of last year. The release occurs many weeks after that of macOS Sonoma 14.3.

All compatible Macs can obtain the free macOS Sonoma 14.3.0.1 upgrade using the Software Upgrade section of System Preferences, as per MacRumors.

The latest version fixes an irritating macOS Sonoma bug that might cause text to be arbitrarily altered while typing. The problem has been reported numerous times and has impacted websites and applications like Mail and Messages.

This has been a persistent bug across different Sonoma versions for some months.

Apple Releases macOS Sonoma 14.3 Featuring Playlists for Collaborative Apple Music

After releasing the operating system in September of last year, Apple launched macOS Sonoma 14.3 on January 22, 2024, which is the third significant upgrade. After more than a month since the introduction of macOS Sonoma 14.2, macOS Sonoma 14.3 has been available.

Using the Software upgrade section of System Preferences, all compatible Macs can obtain the free macOS Sonoma 14.3 upgrade. Additionally, there is a macOS 12.7.3 release for users with macOS Monterey installed and a macOS 13.6.4 release for users who are still using macOS Ventura.

Apple Music customers may now create collaborative playlists with friends and family thanks to the addition of collaborative playlists in macOS Sonoma 14.3. Additionally, the program features an improved AppleCare & Warranty section in Settings that displays coverage for every device that has an Apple ID entered.

Apple Music has been improved in macOS Sonoma 14.3, along with other additions, security upgrades, and bug fixes. According to the source, Apple's complete macOS Sonoma 14.3 release notes are Collaborate on playlists in Apple Music, allow you to invite friends to join your playlist, and everyone can add, reorder, and remove songs; moji reactions can be added to any track in a collaborative playlist in Apple Music; and Your coverage for all devices logged in with your Apple ID is displayed in Settings under AppleCare & Warranty.
