According to IGN, three new exclusive LEGO sets based on the upcoming ‘The Lego Batman Movie’ have recently been revealed on LEGO’s Facebook page ahead of their official international release on 2017.
The first set, called “Batcave Break-In”, includes the Batcave complete with spare Batsuits for Bruce Wayne a.k.a. Batman. The set also featured Penguin, his penguin commandos, and giant rubber duck vehicle reminiscent of the one Danny DeVito’s Penguin used in Tim Burton’s 1992 classic ‘Batman Returns’. Other features include Alfred, a rotating chamber, a jail cell, and the Batcomputer. The set retails for $99.99.
A second set – undoubtedly the largest of the three - features the Arkham Asylum complete with 12 mini-figures that includes Batman, Robin, The Joker, Dr. Quinzel, Two-Face, and police officers. The set, called simply “Arkham Asylum”, also includes a police car, a security screening station, and even cafeteria food. It retails for $149.99.
The third set, called “Mr. Freeze Ice Attack”, features Batman facing off with the fictional supervillain. The LEGO Batman holds a flamethrower while Mr. Freeze comes with a robotic suit and a weapon. It retails for $19.99.
According to The Outhousers, other sets were previewed beforehand at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con including “Joker's Notorious Lowrider” and the “LEGO Batmobile”.
