The fall season is here, and that means Apple is expected to once again take the stage to unveil new products entering the market later this year. Aside from the iPhone 13 series, the company is also expected to have more events throughout the last quarter of the year where Macs with upgraded Apple Silicone chips could be announced.
In a roundup report from MacRumors, the Cupertino, California-based tech giant is highly anticipated to bring the iPhone event back to September. Due to the pandemic that started in early 2020, the iPhone 12 series was one of the products that were speculated to be delayed.
The rumors became a reality when the 2020 iPhones did not launch until October. But Apple is expected to bring back its more familiar schedule this year. That means the iPhone 13 is very likely to be announced in September. Over the years, Apple has chosen to conduct its launch events on a Tuesday. And MacRumors suggested, based on the events that took place in previous years, that Sept. 14 is one of the most likely dates for the iPhone 13 announcement. If this happens to be the case, the company should release event teasers around the week of Sept. 6.
New iPhones may not be the only ones to be announced next month. The Apple Watch line is also due to get a refresh model this year, while the AirPods 3 is also widely rumored to launch this fall. The same report suggests these are some of the most likely products to join the iPhone 13 at Apple’s September event.
The Apple rumor mill is also filled with reports that a redesigned MacBook Pro is slated to launch this year. Recently, the rumored 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros have reportedly entered production. They are both expected to ship with the M1X chip and sport a new form factor. Leaker dylandkt tweeted in June that the new MacBook Pros could arrive between late October and early November. Meanwhile, Apple fans might have to wait until 2022 for an upgraded and redesigned MacBook Air.
There have also been reports that Apple is planning to launch new iPads this fall. The company is rumored to update the iPad mini line with a redesigned tablet, but it is still unclear if Apple is going to have a separate event for this product.
