It’s not over yet! The match between the Schweiden Adlers and the Black Jackals was predicted to end in the previous chapter, but apparently, the game extended to “Haikyuu” chapter 397 as game 4 set was put in place, and it has now turned into a best of five play.
Chapter recap
Prior to the continuation of the game in “Haikyuu” chapter 396, the winners in the best line-up poll have been announced first. The chapter titled “Hunger: Part 2” revealed that the no. 1 opposite hitter is Wakatoshi Ushijima as he garnered 20,799 votes. For the no. 1 setter, Tobio Kagayema won with 21,200 votes, while Hinta Shiyo is the no. 1 middle blocker with 33,300 votes.
On the other hand, Tetsuro Kuroo is the no. 2 middle blocker with 30,012 votes, while Kotaro Bokuto has 32,414 votes to be the no. 1 wing-spiker with Kiyoomi Sakusa placing no. 2 with 16,002 votes. Finally, Yu Nishinoya has 38,702 votes to be the no. 1 libero.
In the game, the Adlers have closed the gap, but still, the Jackals are winning with a 25-23 score.
The match ended with the Jackals leading the scoreboard with 2-1, and it will clearly continue since it will be the best of five game now.
To ultimately win the match, the Adlers must now win in both games 4 and 5. For the Jackals, they need one more win to be named as the winner. The ending of “Haikyuu” chapter 396 showed the fourth set starting already.
Spoilers
The Adlers have a good start in the fourth set as they are the ones who scored first. “Haikyuu” chapter 397 will show more of Atsumu Miya’s powerful service that will lead to scores but surely, the Adlers will intensify their moves to stop him in the fourth set.
Surely, fans will see the Adlers tensed up since they need to win in the last two sets. They have to make a comeback to secure the victory and one of the greatest hurdles is Miya and Hinata. They should get past the aces and score in “Haikyuu” chapter 397.
Release date
“Haikyuu” chapter 397 will be released on time which has been set for June 14, as per Shonen Jump. Fans can check the raw scans that will be available on June 12.
