AMD may be developing further RDNA 3 GPUs, as three new cards, the Radeon RX 7800, RX 7700, and RX 7600 XT, have been discovered.
AMD Could Be Developing More RDNA 3 GPUs
@Harukaze5719 has discovered three new graphics cards based on the RDNA 3 GPU architecture within the EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) database. The Radeon RX 7800, RX 7700, and RX 7600 XT are among the three cards, as per VideoCardz.
The listing comes from ARKTEK, a pretty minor AIB headquartered in the Asian Pacific region whose latest cards aren't even based on the RDNA 3 GPUs, so take this information with a grain of salt.
Returning to the three cards, the AMD Radeon RX 7800 and RX 7700 are most likely scaled-down versions of their XT brothers, which have been on the market for a few months. In the event that these are true, we should expect 10-15% poorer performance and a minor variation in pricing.
There's also the AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT, which we've seen appear in listings before, but the red team only released the Radeon RX 7600 Non-XT model. The RX 7600 currently has a complete Navi 33 GPU. Thus, an XT model would either be a faster variant or based on the upper-tier Navi 32 GPU core with a drastically reduced core arrangement.
AMD RDNA 3 Lineup Expansion Looms as NVIDIA RTX 4070, Ti SUPER Set the Stage
While AMD has completed its RDNA 3 GPU ASICs, it still has room to expand the lineup with additional configurations in the future. The debut of NVIDIA's RTX 4070 & Ti SUPER cards, which will compete against the RX 7800 XT and RX 7900 XT graphics cards, will amp up the competition in the coming months.
It would be interesting to see if AMD launches new cards or lowers the prices of existing models to compete with the green team's new competitors. Finally, early this year, WCCFTech saw RX 7950 XTX, RX 7950 XT, and RX 7500 XT GPUs listed, as well as recent additions of 7850 XT, 7750 XT, and 7650 XT GPUs at EEC, but there is no indication that these cards will hit retail shelves anytime soon.
