SEATTLE, Nov. 17, 2016 -- ATLAS Workbase is setting the new standard in flexible, high-performance coworking spaces by teaming up with FedEx Office® to provide seamless access to a broad range of business products and premium services.
FedEx Office has opened an in-house Print & Ship Center inside the first ATLAS Workbase, a 20,000 square foot coworking space facility at the 500 Mercer Street Building located in the heart of downtown/uptown Seattle.
ATLAS Workbases, intentionally designed for global and mobile workforces to enhance productivity and innovation in a modern and highly ergonomic setting, are designed in conjunction with Gensler and Open Square. Design partners, including Steelcase and Philips Lighting, joined the project to deliver a high-end work environment and experience that is unmatched in the shared workspace industry.
“FedEx Office and ATLAS share a similar vision, which is to create solutions for the modern workforce that drives productivity and innovation. Having a FedEx Office Print & Ship Center inside ATLAS Workbase facilities fits perfectly into that shared vision. We are excited to enhance productivity through offering our unique products and services within the ATLAS facilities and look forward to potential expansion opportunities,” said Jeff Heyman, vice president, Retail Operations, FedEx Office.
ATLAS Workbases replicate the look and feel of high-end executive airport lounges or clubs, complete with concierge services, pay-for-use plans or single-day use passes, and an array of space options that meet short-term or long-term needs. When first entering ATLAS, members or “day users” are met by a concierge for maximum productivity, with the option to upgrade their meeting space requirements depending on the needs of the day. ATLAS desks built by Steelcase include the Brody Workstation, Sit and Stand desks, and other high-end options that allow users to control their individual work environment.
“ATLAS Workbase sets a new bar for what a coworking space experience should deliver as the industry matures well beyond standard desk and workstation settings. ATLAS offers a grand showcase, creating an environment built precisely to meet the needs of modern, fluid workforces and ever-changing corporate requirements. We look forward to building out our relationship as ATLAS expands its footprint nationally,” said Bill Sechter, founder and CEO, ATLAS Workbase.
