With the premiere of “Avengers: Endgame” only being mere hours away, many are already calling for others not to spoil the movie for American viewers. The film is out in other countries and social media is now rife with an incredibly frustrating amount of details. In response to these trends, Robert Downey Jr. who plays Tony “Iron Man” Stark posted his own plea.
The modern era has given rise to the overwhelming need to be in the know when it comes to everything and the directors of “Avengers: Endgame” know this quite well. The Russo brothers acknowledged as much in a recent interview, where Joe talks about the need for spoiling things, Comic Book reports.
“This is a culture that wants everything now, and it’s getting worse. The world is connected via social media, and information travels within seconds. If you’ve been following along with this narrative for 10 years, you’re going to want to protect yourself. It’s best to go in clean. I encourage people to go opening weekend because I’m sure everything is going to hit the Internet the moment the movie hits the screen,” the co-director said.
In response to all of the “Avengers: Endgame” spoilers making it to social media, Robert Downey Jr. posted on Twitter a request to fans to not do exactly this. He did so with a Gif that basically made use of an educational clip starring Captain America (Chris Evans).

One detail that has been making rounds on the web that might save viewers some time, though, is the matter of the post-credits scene. It would appear that “Avengers: Endgame” has none, so fans can go into the theatre with that in mind. On that note, there will supposedly be an audio clip that might or might not have anything to do with Phase 4 of the MCU.
