Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are legally divorced but everyone can see that their family bond is stronger than ever. In fact, the former couple seems to be more comfortable these days as they go on family trips, lunch outs and attend church service on Sundays.
Just this past weekend, The Daily Mail reported that Ben and Jen stepped out with their children - Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, 7, to hear mass together in Los Angeles. The couple looks happy as they spend time as a family. After the service, they chatted while having snacks with the congregation.
Previously, the Hollywood Life noted that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are trying their best to be good parents even if they are only co-parenting their kids. Based on what they are showing, the former husband and wife are so far successful in attaining their goal for their children.
“Ben and Jen have found a way to put the kids' needs in front of their own and things have really begun to work great for them, everyone in the family is really happy,” the insider told HL. “They have done a ton of work to get to a healthy place. Ben has worked hard to become a better father and Jen has worked on things from her side too.”
The source added that although it has been a tough journey for Ben and Jennifer, they are getting along really well lately as they found the perfect way to make it all work. “The kids love it even more when both Jen and Ben spend time together with them so that is what they try do as often as possible, share family time together,” the source shared.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, both 47 years old, finalized their divorce late last year after being separated for a couple of years. They had a tough time especially when the former lapsed into his alcoholic ways but after rehabilitation with the help of Jen, he is recovering and been sober since coming home from the facility. Now, they are often spotted on family outings in LA or nearby states.
