The Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie divorce was such a highly publicized affair that it literally dominated Hollywood news coverage for several weeks. Since then, the situation has only gotten uglier, with the former star couple being at each other’s throats over custody matters. To add to their pain are stories like the one claiming that the “Fight Club” actor has turned to Jewish mysticism.
This particular Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie story was courtesy of RadarOnline, Gossip Cop reports and it came out during the early days of the bombshell development. The publication basically claimed that the actor was down in the dumps and wanted something that would help make him feel better. His answer was supposedly Kabbalah, which is completely ridiculous at face value, alone.
For those who may not know, Kabbalah is basically a mystical practice and belief system stemming from the Jewish people. While it does have a lot of followers, many of whom are more than likely to be famous on some level, this particular Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie report was simply going too far.
It is also worth pointing out that the change that the actor had undergone was credited by him to therapy and his efforts to give up his drinking habits. He has never said anything about joining some sort of mystical group, let alone that this is what made him a better man for his kids. As such, this particular Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie story was easy enough to debunk, at the time.
Fast forward one year later, there has been no additional details with regards to the former Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie couple being involved in any kind of religious cult. In fact, it would appear that a majority of their attention is focused on simply getting over the custody issue that is causing them so much pain.
