Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston dating rumors: Angelina Jolie’s former mother-in-law ‘rooting’ for exes to get married again?

Brad Pitt’s mom, Jane Etta Pitt, is reportedly rooting for her son to marry Jennifer Aniston again. After all, Jane loves the “Friends” star, but she hated Pitt’s other ex-wife, Angelina Jolie.

National Enquirer recently published a soap opera-like story about Pitt and Aniston following their reunion at the SAG Awards. The tabloid claimed that the former couple is already talking about taking another trip to the altar.

“They feel the outpouring of love from the crowd – and for each other – and now they’re convinced getting back together was meant to be. Jen’s close pals and family are over the moon about what has happened between Brad and Jen,” an unnamed source told the tabloid.

Other than Jane, Aniston’s former co-star, Courteney Cox, is also rooting for the couple. In fact, Cox was also the one that paved the way for Pitt to contact Aniston again after so many years.

But as exciting as the Pitt-Aniston storyline may seem, it is highly likely that it was made-up. After all, Pitt and Aniston are just friends, and they don’t also have any plans to get back together.

The dubious storyline may have been concocted following several claims that Jane dislikes the “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” star. In December, Radar Online claimed that Jane would be flying to see Pitt over the holidays, and she’s also keen to come face to face with Jolie.

“She’s done with all this cruelty and unpleasantness that’s been shown towards her son and looking to confront Angie head-on,” a source said.

Pitt’s protective mom allegedly got upset when she heard Jolie say that she wants to raise her six children in another country. However, she can only do so when they all turn 18 because their father is in Los Angeles.

Days later, Woman’s Day claimed that Jane is also furious at Jolie over the way that she’s been talking about Pitt during her interviews. As such, Jane confronted her former daughter-in-law.

“She told Angelina how upsetting it’s been watching her continually twisting the knife and publicly making digs at her son three long years after their split. She also told Ange how Brad had kept a dignified silence through everything despite her continuing to move goalposts in their divorce and custody battle, and her continued efforts to keep the kids away from him,” a source said.

However, all of these claims were proven to be incorrect.
