Burger King Japan Introduces Gourmet Steak Sauce Whopper with Real Steak Pieces, Available August 9
Burger King Japan continues to surprise its customers with last-minute announcements. As SoraNews24 shared information, it revealed the addition of a Steak Sauce Whopper to its menu, set to launch the following day. What makes this new burger stand out isn’t just the sauce but the inclusion of actual steak pieces.
These new burgers are being touted as “gourmet burgers,” elevating the quality with a 100-percent flame-grilled American beef patty combined with American cubed beef shoulder loin. The steak is prepared through a two-stage sous vide cooking process, enhancing the flavor. After eight months of trials, Burger King perfected the steak recipe with a specially developed garlic-infused roasted soy sauce-style sauce, complemented by vegetables and mayo for added crunch and flavor.
The lineup features four compelling versions of the Steak Sauce Whopper, each with its unique twist. One of these versions boasts a special ingredient: spicy garlic flakes. These flakes add a fiery kick that complements the savory meat, promising a taste sensation. These exciting new burgers will be available for a limited time, starting August 9. Burger King fans in Japan are encouraged to act quickly to avoid missing out on this gourmet experience.
Burger King Japan Rolls Out Dr. Pepper Nationwide, Alongside New American Smoky Chicken and Floats
To wash down these gourmet burgers, Burger King Japan is introducing Dr. Pepper to its menu nationwide. Although Dr. Pepper has a niche following in Japan, it’s popular enough to earn the nickname “Dokupe.” On July 26, Burger King Japan offered Dr. Pepper floats made with vanilla ice cream. For those craving an American-style experience, the chain is launching the American Smoky Chicken on the same day.
With its unique blend of over 20 flavors, Dr. Pepper has a mixed reputation in Japan. Some liken it to medicine, while others appreciate its distinct taste. Burger King Japan is confident that customers will develop a taste for it after a few tries. The new menu items have already sparked excitement online, with fans expressing their enthusiasm for the unique flavor of Dr. Pepper and its pairing with Burger King’s offerings.
Prices for Dr. Pepper at Burger King Japan start at 230 yen for a small, 280 yen for a medium, and 330 yen for a large, with the float available for 270 yen. For those without a nearby Burger King, the DP Lovers Map is a helpful resource, pinpointing locations across Japan where Dr. Pepper can be found.
