SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, March 30, 2018 -- CoinAgenda (www.coinagenda.com), the premier conference series connecting blockchain and cryptocurrency investors with startup and ICO opportunities since 2014, today announced the winners of the CoinAgenda Caribbean ICO pitch competition. Taking home top honors was Siglo, a protocol for facilitating financial inclusion in emerging markets, followed by Monetizr, Glyph, Vertalo, and AI Chain.

For its first-place win, the Siglo team was awarded a complimentary booth, which includes two full conference passes, at a future CoinAgenda event and an additional booth at a future ICO 2018 event, as well as a full-conference pass at a d10e of its choosing. Each runner up will receive complimentary tickets to CoinAgenda, ICO 2018, and d10e, ensuring founders can continue to connect globally with the industry’s top investors and partners.
In addition to winners voted on by judges, CoinAgenda audience members were encouraged to vote for their favorite presenter on Superbloom’s platform. Luckemy won the audience members’ vote for its online gambling platform driven by a unique combination of off-chain cryptography and blockchain technology.
CoinAgenda Caribbean brought together blockchain industry leaders, entrepreneurs, family offices and funds together at the La Concha Renaissance on San Juan’s Condado Beach from March 17-19, 2018. Growing from 90 attendees last year to 450 attendees this year, a major theme of the conference was blockchain economic development and opportunity in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean region at large. More than 100 entrepreneurs have moved to Puerto Rico in the past several months for its unique tax incentives and friendly business climate. CoinAgenda will be donating $25,000 of ticket proceeds to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico in support of its hurricane relief efforts.
