BOSTON, Aug. 16, 2017 -- JLT Specialty USA, a U.S. subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc. (JLT), one of the world’s leading speciality risk advisors and brokers, is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg Steele as Senior Surety Account Executive.
This appointment comes after JLT announcing two additional key hires in their Boston Construction Risk Practice within the last week. These appointments are part of JLT’s continued investment into Construction specialty further supporting JLT’s partnership with Construction Risk Partners (CRP) in January 2017. JLT is committed to building market leading teams to provide clients with an unmatched specialized capability and expertise within their specialty areas.
Based in Boston, Steele will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, while leveraging his expertise on complex surety deals to assist with program management of existing clients. Steele comes to CRP from Aon where he served as Surety Account Executive/Broker. In this role he was responsible for managing a large and diverse book of contract and commercial surety business. Prior to Aon, he spent seven years on the carrier side with Travelers and Liberty Mutual, underwriting large contract surety business.
