Fans are happy to jump at any official information that they can get with regards to “Cyberpunk 2077,” especially if this information is coming from the developers themselves. In recent weeks, there has been a blessed rain of details and this has provided fans with clearer ideas on what they can expect from the game. Many of the tidbits shared involve the game’s shooting mechanics and other features.
As GameRant reports, there have been a lot of occasions when the folks working at CD Projekt Red teased fans with tiny bits of information with regards to “Cyberpunk 2077.” In a recent forum posting, for example, it was confirmed by community lead Marcin Momot that the game allows firing from the hip.
One of the fears that fans have had with regards to “Cyberpunk 2077” is that they will be forced to look down the sights every time they want to shoot. While there are plenty of occasions where this is appropriate, there are also times when being able to shoot from the hip is a life-saver. It seems both options will be available in the game.
There have even been discussions about the augmentations that will help players in the matter of firing without looking down the sights. Obviously, accuracy is going to be an issue, at that point. With the right augmentation, however, it won’t become as big of a problem. This is part of the freedom that “Cyberpunk 2077” promises to players.
As for when “Cyberpunk 2077” can be expected to release, the combination of these teasers and rumors suggest that an early 2020 launch would not be impossible. The developers have already made clear that there is still a lot of work that needs to be done with regards to polishing the game. CD Projekt Red is committed to releasing the game with as few bugs as possible.
