The massive success of the “Fifty Shades” trilogy movie should be attributed to the onscreen chemistry of its main actors Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan. That makes it unsurprising if many fans are looking forward to seeing them work together again in a movie project.
Johnson and Dornan gave life to the main characters of E. L. James’ same title novel series Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, respectively. The franchise is popularly known for its erotic scenes primarily centered around Christian and Ana’s sadomasochistic relationship.
Their acting was so convincing that Johnson and Dornan were consistently hounded with dating rumors through the years of the movie franchise. However, it is important to note that Dornan was already married to actress Amelia Warner months before the filming of “Fifty Shades of Grey” even started in 2013. His continuously happy marriage with Warner should be enough proof that none of the relationship allegations were factual.
Fans, however, might be wanting to see more of Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan together on the movie screen. James previously hinted that she is not closing the door on writing the fourth book and said, “I have an idea for the fourth book, but I can't tell you anything about that without really spoiling it. So, if I ever do it, yeah, I've got the first line.”
If a fourth book would be made into a fourth “Fifty Shades” movie, they might have to find a new actor to play Christian Grey. Dornan previously told Vulture, “I probably won’t ever take a job with this much attention and scrutiny and public opinion directed at it again. And that’s fine! From a practical point of view, you just move on to the next and keep your head down.” Note, though, that the actor emphasized that working on the trilogy has also led to his and Johnson’s following movie projects.
Meanwhile, it also became apparent that being onscreen partners led to Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan’s friendship. Seeing them in a fourth “Fifty Shades” movie might not sound possible, but it would not be surprising if they decide to work again together in the future.
