Dior unveils their newest collaborative endeavor, the Dior Tears capsule collection, teaming up with streetwear powerhouse Denim Tears. The anticipated collection celebrates its launch with an array of pop-up boutiques showcasing an enticing fusion of Dior classics and Denim Tears' bold aesthetic.
Headed by Tremaine Emory, the Creative Director of streetwear brand Supreme, Denim Tears brings a fresh perspective to the collaboration. Joining forces with Kim Jones, Dior's talented menswear designer, they masterfully blend timeless classics with a touch of elegance and informality, creating a modern interpretation of menswear for this generation.
The capsule collection showcases a range of iconic Dior pieces, from the Saddle Bag to the Dior Lingot and even the B33 trainers, all crafted from denim-inspired materials. Paying homage to Denim Tears' signature bucket hats and varsity writing, the collection infuses Dior's distinctive house codes, including the elegant oblique pattern, alongside Denim Tears' wreath design. Vibrant colors, reminiscent of the streetwear brand's vibrant aesthetic, adorn every piece, adorned with the notable Denim Tears peace sign symbol.
Inside these upscale pop-up shops, visitors will be treated to distinctive exhibits showcasing the stunning capsule collection. Drawing inspiration from Denim Tear's iconic bucket hats and varsity writing, the collection effortlessly incorporates Dior house codes, including the signature oblique motif and the Denim Tears wreath design. Each piece in the collection proudly displays the Denim Tears peace sign, staying true to the streetwear company's vibrant color scheme.
Enormous inflatables and colossal installations fill the space, while flower-themed decorations accentuate the allure of the Dior Tears line. Video projections blend seamlessly with the co-branded logo, captivating visitors with an immersive visual experience. As an added treat, guests can even download a digital creation by the renowned artist Azuma Makoto. This exceptional production intertwines art, fashion, history, and culture, defying boundaries and enchanting visitors.
The Dior Tears pop-up shops will be open until July 13th in London, July 30th in Tokyo, July 13th to 22nd in Seoul, and July 15th to 25th in Shanghai.
