With the continuing feud between the United States and Iran, it is no wonder that President Donald Trump remains under heavy scrutiny from everyone all over the world. Recently, another wave of backlash hits him after he takes credit for his predecessor’s work.
If there is anything people know about Donald Trump, it is that he tried to recall the Affordable Care Act, including the healthcare support for people who suffer from existing conditions. Michael Bloomberg was among those who reported this, sparking, even more, criticism towards Trump. Recently, as reported by Politicalflare, Donald took to Twitter saying that Bloomberg’s reports were all false and that Bloomberg was using that to advertise.
Trump went on to say that he was the one responsible for saving the Pre-Existing Conditions in peoples’ healthcare. He also insisted that he will continue to guard the regulations that he supposedly implemented. This is ironic considering that it was his predecessor Barack Obama’s work, and it was implemented by the opposing party, the Democrats. It is also ironic considering that his administration has been trying to revoke the ACA since the beginning of his term.
Nevertheless, netizens were outraged and called Donald out. Many public figures called him out on his “lie” as well.
But this is just one of the things Trump is being ridiculed and criticized for. The Washington Press reports that last week, Donald addressed the retaliation made by the Iranian missile attacks at US bases in Iraq. This was a response to the airstrike made by the US troops that killed Iranian military commander Qassem Soleimani. Although things eventually escalated with a potential to declare a third world war, the Trump administration stepped back and announced that they will not make further moves.
As Trump addressed the situation, people noticed his unusual manner of delivery, from the way he spoke to his nose tic. The hashtag “#Adderall” was trending on social media that day, with netizens assuming that the President used drugs. This goes all the way back to a former The Apprentice staffer claimed that Donald was a user of Adderall and called the President a “speed freak.”
