There’s still no news when “F is for Family” Season 4 will be released following its renewal in January. But judging by how the previous installments were handled, it appears that it may come out sometime between the spring or summer of 2020, Inverse reported.
The first entry debuted on December 2015, the second in May 2017, and the third on November 2018. Going by this pattern, there appears to be a gap of one year and six months between each installment, which lands “F is for Family” Season 4 on May 2020.
As for the plot, nothing has been revealed just yet. However, it seems that “F is for Family” Season 4 will be focusing on the tension between Frank (Bill Burr) and his father. The third entry ended with the arrival of the latter, and it would be interesting to see how this visit will change the dynamic of the household.
It has already been established that Frank doesn’t like his old man. There’s also the high chance of the senior Murphy revealing how Frank was brought up, with a possibility of embarrassing stories about the veteran featured in “F is for Family” Season 4.
Meanwhile, Bill (Hailey Reinhart) will have to deal with the aftermath of Bridget (Deri Derryberry) ditching her after the two planned to run away together. Returning to the dynamic of the household, it’s not just Frank’s dad who’ll be complicating the family’s relationship as the new Murphy baby will joining the characters in “F is for Family” Season 4.
This baby is not expected to grow quickly as the series’ timeline has been considerably slowed down by its show creators. Co-creator Michael Price previously said that even if the show moves forward in its eighth or ninth season, only two years would’ve passed by inside the series. Concerning its future, it seems that “F is for Family” Season 4 will be setting up more shenanigans for the Murphy family as the series is in a pretty good spot at the moment. It’s currently the second-longest Netflix Original show to date, bested only by “Bojack Horseman.”
