Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Exclusively in Galaxy S25 Worldwide
A great deal of back and forth has taken place over the course of the past several months concerning the chipset(s) that will be used to power Samsung's forthcoming Galaxy S25 series, which is anticipated to be released in January at the very least.
In the beginning, GSM Arena was informed that it would be an exclusive event for Exynos, but then two different reports informed us that Snapdragon would be present everywhere.
Latest Rumor Confirms Snapdragon for Galaxy S25
Now, another rumor, this time coming from Samsung's own country of Korea (via Hankyung), proves that the Snapdragon has won.
According to reports, the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra will all feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 in their respective global versions. It would appear that this practice was carried out in order to "maximize the performance" of the S25 series.
Exynos 2500 Reserved for Samsung's Fold 7 and Flip 7
