A tipster has leaked a new render of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, showcasing a flagship with rounded corners and ultra-thin bezels, potentially signaling a design shift for the brand.
Tipster Leaks Sleek Galaxy S25 Ultra Design
There were rumors that Samsung was working on four separate Galaxy S25 Ultra prototypes, but the business probably decided to wait until next year to release a new one.
A tipster has leaked a rendering of the Korean giant's high-end model, which suggests that their next flagship will have a more rounded design with thinner bezels and corners.
There are a number of possible explanations as to why the corporation is bucking the "boxy" trend.
The sharp corners of a boxier design may make it appear clean and tidy to the naked eye, but they may really be a pain when you need to actually use it, shares WCCFTECH.
Rounded Corners Instead of Boxy Edges
Since it takes more time for machines to produce a machine with rounded edges rather than sharper ones, laptop manufacturers frequently utilize this method to save production costs. Ice Universe, however, has released a fresh rendering of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, suggesting that the flagship model will adopt rounded corners rather than sharp ones.
Despite the design's many advantages, Samsung may find it costly to mass-produce this chassis.
Even when folded in half, the Galaxy S25 Ultra's "edged" corners won't irritate your skin or sting your fingers if you happen to bump them.
Though it may share the same design with Apple's next iPhone 16 Pro Max, the S-Pen could provide Samsung's premium model with a few extra features.
Thinner Bezels for a Better User Experience
Previous information from the source indicated that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be slimmer than the Galaxy S24 Ultra and have a design reminiscent of the unstable Galaxy Note 7. Thanks to an improved bonding method, the device will thankfully maintain a titanium chassis while keeping the Grade 2 variant.
With thinner bezels, Samsung can shrink the Galaxy S25 Ultra without sacrificing screen real estate, making it more comfortable to handle for individuals with little hands.
