Looks like the dragons have grown up, literally.
A new first-look photo from the upcoming Season 7 of “Game Of Thrones” has made fans more excited for Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) fulfilling her ancestral destiny. When the last few seasons chronicled her struggles to build a massive army to support her cause, it looks like people are not the only ones who would be backing up Dany.
A photo by Entertainment Weekly showed Dany riding a very massive dragon, which is probably Drogon. Both Dany and the dragon appeared to be in the middle of a battlefield, with fire, smoke, and soldiers fighting in the background.
The photo someone confirms director Matt Shakman’s previous comments about Dany’s growing children, which read, “The dragons this year are the size of 747s. Drogon is the biggest of the bunch — his flame is 30-feet in diameter!”
Dany’s dragons will most likely be instrumental in her fight. An earlier teaser revealed her competitor to the throne, Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), is seen expelling a breath of cold air, TIME noted, which could mean that she might form an alliance with the White Walkers.
Whatever it is, Iain Glen, who plays Ser Jorah Mormont in the fantasy drama, suspect that the upcoming season will “definitely feels like the beginning of the end game.”
“The story is going toward a conclusion,” Glen added. “There’s no sense of treading water. You have storylines colliding. And the evolving drama and relationships are as good as they have ever been,” he added.
