MCLEAN, Va., Dec. 11, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Gladstone Land Corporation (NASDAQ:LAND) (the "Company") today announced that it has priced its public offering of 900,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $8.82 per share. The Company also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 135,000 additional shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any. Subject to customary conditions, the offering is expected to close on or about December 16, 2015. The net proceeds to the Company, after deducting the underwriting discount and estimated offering expenses, are expected to be approximately $7.4 million (exclusive of the underwriters' over-allotment option).
Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Inc., Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. and Wunderlich Securities, Inc. are serving as the joint book-running managers for the offering. Maxim Group LLC is serving as co-manager.
The Company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to repay existing indebtedness, fund pending and future property acquisitions and for other general corporate purposes.
