Having launched in Paris in 2008, YKONE is a global leader in influencer marketing and has supported world-class brands, such as Gucci and Nespresso. In recent years, YKONE has expanded to the travel vertical, bringing creative, industry-differentiating influencer marketing for brands such as Visit the USA and Dubai Tourism.
YKONE has global offices in Paris, Milan, Berlin, Dubai, Tunis, Abu Dhabi, Bangalore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore and Geneva. They are now, however, opening their newest office in Miami. At the helm of YKONE’s new venture is Nick Mattera, the Vice President in the Americas, who, with the help of their dynamic team, will provide strategic guidance to the growing travel industry. Nick will be supported by the company's CEO, Oliver Billon, previously the marketing manager for the Luxury Division of L’Oréal.
“When I first interacted with Ykone during my time in Dubai, I personally was becoming a bit jaded at what I saw as a sea of sameness for travel brands in their interactions with influencers and content creators. It was a lot of the same types of people going to the same places, creating the same content and the creativity that was core to the early days in the influencer space was fading” Mattera Said
“But YKONE and their approach the influencer marketing shifted my perceptions and made me a believer again. And now, four years later I am thrilled to have joined their organization and look forward to bringing their approach to brands in the U.S.”
YKONE Miami will increase the agency’s momentum in travel, and provide further strategic marketing and staffing solutions tailored to an industry in need of a more dedicated and differentiated approach to influencer marketing.
Miami is one of the most diverse and cosmopolitan cities in America, having combined travel, business and luxury in a beautiful tropical paradise. Located in Miami’s Design District, the new agency will specialise as a unique solution for travel brands.
While YKONE’ U.S. Office will lean on the travel and tourism industry, it will also not forget its core DNA as an agency, which is being a truly global leader in luxury and fashion. YKONE’s global presence supports a vast portfolio of clients that is only continuing to grow.
YKONE have a state-of-the-art creative studio led by a team of art directors, copywriters and graphic designers among a plethora of other creatives bringing brands' visions to life, and they have developed their own in-house digital tool Campaygn software, a 360-degree influencer marketing platform that allows the agency to target client needs and create customized solutions, which in turn, sets YKONE out from the rest. YKONE places creativity, PR, and innovation at the heart of each campaign, helping brands strategize, create, produce, and amplify their social media and influencer marketing activities with more than 350 activations a year.
“Ykone Americas will position itself in a way that it can support brands not only in leveraging the power of influencer marketing, but to develop holistic, measurable 360 brand campaigns with content creators and storytellers at the heart of them" Olivier Billon, YKONE founder explains.
As borders begin to re-open with the COVID-19 global vaccination rates increasing, YKONE is in the perfect position to leverage influencer storytelling and creative continent development to show the beauty and connections of travel, and demonstrate safety in a new-age. As influencers begin to show that travel is possible, YKONE will be there to help.
The new YKONE office in Miami will help grow the booming industry of travel and tourism globally. To follow their journey and get in contact, find them on Instagram, or send Oliver an email at [email protected]
