It has been over three years since Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton confirmed they are dating. But, to this day, the level of sweetness they show during events and in their social media pages seems like they are still in the so-called honeymoon period.
The romance that Stefani and Shelton exude may also be one reason why wedding rumors will not die. Just recently, the two were once again reported as having a secret wedding in Reno, Nevada. But it was immediately quashed by the lack of official wedding license to confirm they actually got married.
However, it is also important to note that both the music artists previously implied they are not closing any doors when it comes to getting married in the future. Both Stefani and Shelton have expressed their thoughts about tying the knot again after their failed marriages with Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert.
Earlier this year, Ellen DeGeneres asked Gwen Stefani about the wedding rumors. The talk show host said the singer should be married to which she replied, “You know what? I love weddings, the kids love [Blake Shelton]."
About a week later, Shelton was also asked by CMT's Cody Alan about the possibility of proposing to Stefani. The country music star said, “I think about it. I don't think it's anytime soon or anything … The more time that goes by, I guess, the closer you'd be getting to that.”
However, it still seems like no wedding has happened yet nor they are planning anything soon. But a source told PEOPLE that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are both certain they want to be together for a very long time.
“They’re still madly in love and beyond inseparable. Blake has wanted to take his time with marriage, but he is absolutely committed to Gwen. They both feel they’ve found their true partner in life and plan to be together forever,” the insider added.
