‘Homeland’ season 6’s episode 6, titled “The Return," will follow Carrie as she seeks out Quinn’s help after she finds out about the man across the street stalking her. Meanwhile, president elect Keane will have to take a stand and step up.
The brief synopsis for episode 6 posted on TV Guide reads, “Carrie (Claire Danes) follows a lead; Saul (Mandy Patinkin) meets an old friend; Keane (Elizabeth Marvel) takes a stand.”
The intense new episode will follow the aftermath of the preceding one’s events. Quinn (Rupert Friend) will find himself locked away in prison while Carrie will have to do everything in her power to get through him as it seems she is the only one who can, according to Cartermatt.
In the previous episode, titled “Cassus Beli,” Quinn was forced to retaliate after Carrie’s residence was stormed by a mob angered over Carrie’s involvement in Sekou’s case. Carrie had to leave her daughter with him in order to attend to Sekou’s family after the van he drove exploded.
When Carrie was allowed to return home to negotiate with Quinn, Quinn insisted that he had proof on his phone of Carrie being spied on that is why the police won’t let him go free. The ESU eventually managed to enter Carrie’s apartment to take him into police custody.
The promo opens to Carrie paying Quinn a visit but the latter seemed distraught and unwilling to engage in a decent conversation. He accuses, “You’re with them!” Carrie tries to explain herself but he continues to evade her.
By the end of promo, Carrie suspects that an intruder is lurking around in her home. She tells Quinn in a voice-over, “I should’ve listened to you about the man across the street… the guy you said was watching me.”
Meanwhile, in the previous episode, president elect Elizabeth Keane had to be taken to a safe house following the disrupting events and became frustrated as the day wore on when she felt that she was cut off from the world. It seems that she will have to take a stand in the upcoming episode.
‘Homeland’ season 6’s episode 6, titled “The Return," is scheduled to air on February 26, 2017 on Showtime. It was directed by Alex Graves and written by Charlotte Stoudt. It will be followed by episode 7, titled "Imminent Risk," scheduled to be released on March 5.
