Recent revelations appear to suggest that Donald Trump’s eldest daughter and White House adviser Ivanka Trump is often at odds with her stepmother, first lady Melania Trump. According to a body language expert, Ivanka has shown similar poses to that of her stepmother’s, hinting that she may be mimicking the first lady.
Speaking to Express, body language expert, Judi James analyzed photos of Ivanka and said that she has tried to mimic her stepmother, which may suggest an admiration for Melania. James noted the similar poses between the First Lady and the White House adviser. “POTUS’ daughter also appears to be mirroring or mimicking her stepmother Melania’s signature beauty queen pose here too. This could have implied some subliminal admiration for her,” said James.
Both Ivanka and Melania were present as speakers at the Republican National Convention a few weeks ago, where both women made a case for Donald Trump’s reelection efforts at the partisan event. With Melania’s status as first lady and Ivanka’s position as a White House adviser, the two are usually seen at political or presidential events. The two women are also known for their work as fashion models in the past, as well as having launched their own respective jewelry lines.
Previously, audio recordings that surfaced about Ivanka’s cousin Mary Trump’s conversation with their aunt, Maryanne Trump Barry, revealed her thoughts on Ivanka as well as her brother Eric Trump.
In one of the recordings Mary shared with MSNBC, Barry criticized Ivanka’s timing of posting a photo with her son that coincided with the Trump administration’s policy of separating families at the border. Barry also went on to say that Ivanka is a “mini-Donald” and called Eric a “moron.”
“When that damn Ivanka puts this picture of the Madonna and child on Instagram when the big news of the day was how kids are being ripped from their families,” said Barry in the recording.
“She’s a mini-Donald, but yet he’s besotted with her. He always has been. She’s always been his favorite,” said Barry, who is Donald Trump’s older sister.
Referring to comedian Samantha Bee’s comments about Ivanka, Barry said that she could not blame Bee for the remarks made towards the president’s eldest daughter.
