Last week, audio recordings of Donald Trump’s sister Maryanne Trump Barry were revealed to the public, criticizing her brother and his administration. Now, new audio recordings reveal that she also has some unsavory words for her niece Ivanka Trump and her nephew Eric Trump.
The new recordings of Barry were released by Mary Trump, as part of the research, she did for her tell-all book about her uncle Donald Trump and their family. As the previously released recordings were of Barry criticizing her brother, the new set of audio recordings of the conversation between Mary and her aunt revealed her aunt’s opinions on Ivanka and Eric. Barry criticized Ivanka’s Instagram post back in 2018 of herself and her son that came at the same time the administration implemented a policy that separated undocumented families from each other at the border.
“That damn Ivanka puts this picture of the ‘Madonna and child’ on Instagram when the big news of the day was how kids are being ripped from their families,” said Barry. When told about the comments of comedian Samantha Bee at the time, who was forced to apologize for calling Ivanka a “feckless c*nt” on her show, Barry said that while she doesn’t know who Bee is, she could not blame the comedian for saying what she said.
Barry also described Ivanka as a “mini-Donald,” and said that she was the favorite child of her brother, while also calling her nephew Eric a “moron.”
“Meanwhile, Eric’s become the moron publicly. Ivanka gives a s***. She’s all about her,” said Barry.
Ivanka, who is also working for the administration as a White House adviser to her father, was among the speakers at last week’s Republican Convention. During her speech, where she makes a case for Donald, she mentions the time her son built the White House out of lego as a gift for his grandfather. However, WYNC reporter Andrea Bernstein, said that Ivanka told the same story about herself 13 years ago, during an interview on Conan O’Brien.
In Bernstein’s book about the Trump and Kushner families titled American Oligarchs, it reveals Ivanka’s 2007 interview with the talk show host, where she said she built a replica of Trump tower out of legos for her father. Bernstein also pointed out that Ivanka’s story was plagiarized from the book called “The Art of Her Deal.”
