Jungkook is part of the South Korean boy band called BTS. It is considered as one of the most successful in the world, and they are currently the hottest today, and with their status, there is no doubt that they make tons of money from their promotions, tours and product endorsements.
While everyone in the team surely earns the same amount of money, it can’t be avoided that some of the members may be earning a bit more due to their extra work outside of promoting as part of BTS. For instance, Jungkook appeared in more ads compared to his hyungs and was the most visible on variety shows as well, so does this mean that he is the richest BTS member?
The wealthiest in the team
According to The Wealth Record, BTS’ net worth as of 2019 is over $60 million. It was also stated that RM and Suga have а nеt wоrth оf $10 mіllіоn because they are also the main composers of their songs. V, Jimin, Jin and Jungkook’s record is $8 million each while J-Hope is said to have $12 million.
Apparently, J-Hope has the highest net worth, so he officially the richest among the BTS members. Seventeen reported that he made more money than the rest due to his solo mixtape titled “Hope World.” It topped the music charts around the world and made it to the Billboard 200 chart, making him the Kpop artist to hit the highest ranking as a soloist.
The most popular
While J-Hope has been named as the richest BTS member, Jungkook is definitely the most popular. He proved this many times, and his co-members even call him as their “golden maknae” for many reasons.
The youngest in the team is the most searched in Google, plus he has a knack for unintentionally selling out products that he is not even endorsing. In fact, Downy once run out of stocks that were supposed to be a three-month supply for the public when fans went out to buy them immediately after Jungkook innocently mentioned on fan cafe that he is using the product to soften his clothes after washing them.
This incident was repeated when in July, Jungkook appeared on V Live to talk to his fans. At that time, he drank some wine, and eagle-eyed fans took note of the brand, and later, the company selling the French wine announced that the stock is unavailable and apologized for the shortage.
Finally, Jungkook was recently voted as one of the richest Korean celebrities that the netizens want to call “hyung,” a Korean term for older brother and also used to show respect. Based on the survey, he placed second by garnering 22.4 percent of the votes.
