Phoenix Suns’ Kevin Durant has become the third NBA star after Michael Jordan and LeBron James, to sign a lifetime deal with Nike, which will continue to include footwear, apparel, and a grassroots-focused basketball community and philanthropic collaboration.
Durant, who sponsors a Nike Elite Youth Basketball League team called Team Durant, has released 15 signature shoes with Nike to this point.
Durant signed an endorsement deal with Nike as a rookie in 2007. He is playing in his 15th NBA season and is a 13-time All-Star.
The No. 4 seeded Suns, led by Durant, are about to meet the top-seeded Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference semifinals.
