Kind, the American food company based in New York City, just announced the launch of its new breakfast meal item. The healthy snack-maker excitedly released its KIND FROZEN Smoothie Bowls this week.
New frozen food for company expansion
Kind LLC made this frozen breakfast smoothie bowl because people usually eat their morning meal at home these days. Having breakfast has become a morning routine for most people today, so the company developed another healthy food option that is perfect for eating after waking up in the morning.
As per CNBC, the debut of Kind Frozen Smoothie also marks the latest progress in the company’s move for expansion. It is already offering a variety of refrigerated energy bars and snack mixes, and now the smoothie has been added to the list.
With the new product category in place, Kind has paved the way for a bigger expansion in the future. Starting with the frozen smoothie bowls that are meant to offer a healthier option to other types of frozen breakfast, more similar items could be expected for future release.
"Since day one, KIND has been committed to upholding our brand promise, to create innovative, premium foods that are both healthy and tasty," Kind LLC CEO and founder, Daniel Lubetzky, said in a statement. "While this category is new for us, it's consistent with how we've always entered new aisles – with an eye to elevate people's overall experience while adhering to our KIND Promise."
The healthier alternative to frozen breakfast
Each of the Kind frozen smoothie bowls only has more or less nine grams of sugar, seven grams of protein. It is a healthier alternative as it also contains plant-based nutrient-rich ingredients.
The bowls also have fruit, crunchy granola, and almond milk. People can choose from a range of flavors, and these are Almond + Mango Pineapple Passion Fruit, Almond + Peach Kiwi Greens, Almond + Triple Acai Berry, and Almond + Chocolate Banana.
In any case, the food company is aiming to broaden its frozen breakfast line just like how it was able to grow its other products like the bars. With the addition of the smoothie bowl, Kind LLC’s sales are estimated to go beyond its $1.5 billion annual profits.
