Manny Pacquiao recently asked his fans who they would like to see as his next opponent in the ring. The world-famous boxer created a poll to know what his fans think and he placed four names as options.
Manny Pacquiao included Floyd Mayweather Jr., Keith Thurman, Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter in the list. With the boxer’s 2.5 million followers, more than 80,000 people participated in the poll and as expected, people want to see a rematch with Mayweather Jr.
Who should I fight next?

As can be seen in Manny Pacquiao’s Twitter post on March 23, he started a poll and Mayweather emerged at the top with 73 percent while Thurman came in second with 13 percent votes. Forbes pointed out that fans voted for the undefeated Mayweather Jr. because they were disappointed with the pair’s first match where the Filipino athlete lost in the game.
At that time, people complained that there was no action at all because Floyd Mayweather Jr. was just running around the ring without engaging in a real fight. Although he won, many criticized the results so they want a rematch. However, the American boxer declared once that he is not interested to fight Manny Pacquiao again.
Despite this, there is still a chance for them to be back in the ring for another round. But surely, this will need a lot of discussions just to settle the deal.
Meanwhile, Philboxing reported that former two-time world champion boxer, Gerry Peñalosa, has a different opinion. He thinks that current top welterweight champ, Errol Spence Jr., is the best opponent for Manny Pacquiao right now. He even said that the 29-year-old boxer who has held the IBF welterweight title since 2017 is tailor-made for the Filipino champ.
“Spence is pretty basic in his fighting style. Good fundamentals but predictable,” Peñalosa said. During Manny's peak, Spence would not be able to touch him. But now, even at 40 years old, Manny's speed and power would still be enough to frustrate Spence.”
