As September 2024 draws to a close, many popular fast-food chains and coffee shops, including McDonald's, Burger King, Starbucks, and Dunkin, are offering an array of limited-time promotions that customers should take advantage of before the month ends. These deals range from discounted meals to special seasonal beverages, giving customers the chance to indulge while saving a few bucks.
McDonald's is known for rolling out fan-favorite deals during seasonal transitions. This month, the chain is promoting its $1, $2, and $3 Dollar Menu, where customers can score everything from McChickens to small fries at discounted prices. McDonald's app users are also in for a treat, as the company is running daily deals through the end of the month. These include buy-one-get-one-free offers and discounts on breakfast items like the Egg McMuffin. For fans of McFlurries and Big Macs, McDonald's is also offering exclusive discounts to loyalty members, with up to 25% off select menu items.
Burger King, another staple in the fast-food industry, is not falling behind in offering deals this September. The chain has brought back its famous 2-for-$6 mix-and-match deal, allowing customers to choose from popular items such as the Whopper Jr., Chicken Fries, and the Original Chicken Sandwich. Additionally, those using Burger King's app can unlock special "Whopper Wednesday" offers, slashing the price of the beloved burger for one day a week. Burger King is also offering its rewards members double points on all purchases made via the app, further incentivizing customers to take advantage of the mobile perks.
Meanwhile, Starbucks has embraced the fall season by revamping its popular fall drink menu, which includes the iconic Pumpkin Spice Latte. As part of its September promotions, Starbucks is offering a buy-one-get-one-free deal on select fall beverages every Thursday through the end of the month. Starbucks Rewards members can also redeem points for free pastries, sandwiches, or coffee, depending on their accumulated stars, with some bonus star promotions available on specific days.
Dunkin’ is also riding the wave of fall enthusiasm with its own set of promotions. Throughout September, Dunkin’ has been offering discounted Pumpkin Spice Lattes and other fall-flavored drinks. Additionally, the chain’s signature Munchkins are available for just $2 with the purchase of any medium or large coffee. Dunkin’ Rewards members get access to further perks, including free coffee with a purchase on certain days and the ability to earn double points on select bakery items and drinks.
Other chains like Wendy’s, Taco Bell, and Subway are also enticing customers with unique deals that are set to expire at the end of the month. Wendy’s is currently running a promotion that offers free fries with any mobile order, while Taco Bell is continuing its "Cravings Pack" deal, allowing customers to mix and match a variety of tacos and burritos at a discounted price. Subway is offering discounts on footlong sandwiches as part of its "Footlong Pass" promotion, where customers who sign up can enjoy subs for $5 throughout the month.
These promotions, many of which are app-exclusive, reflect the growing trend of fast-food giants encouraging mobile app usage to drive engagement. Consumers are advised to act fast, as these deals will expire when September ends.
