Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently sparked rumors amid reports that the Duchess of Sussex could earn $100 million if she would team up with Simon Huck of Command Entertainment Group.
During his interview with “The Morning Roast,” Huck made it clear that the huge sum of money that Markle could get would come from possible projects with Netflix. He also said that it is unlike for Prince Harry’s wife to appear in traditional commercials or perfume ads.
Huck also said that a standard commercial endorsement may not make Markle look good so she will most likely not accept it. Rather, the “Suits” alum could follow in Michelle Obama’s footsteps after she left the White House.
“She’ll do a book deal, she’ll do a TV show, she’ll produce,” he said.
But some royal fans misunderstood Huck’s statement about Markle possibly earning $100 million. They thought that the Duchess of Sussex could get this sum of money if she decides to divorce the Duke of Sussex.
“OMG! Did the divorce leak? #MeghanMarkle could make $100 million this year, says Simon Huck,” Twitter user @isnt_gone said.
“Harry and Meghan are so embarrassing and Harry is going to end up like his parents. And then William could say I told you so. Meghan is so toxic. And I am glad that Harry ended with a person like this,” Twitter user @sollunna said.
“It’s all over very soon. Harry was done with Meghan. The royals came up with a narrative that they wanted to live in two separate continents. Now, the public is waiting for the divorce announcement. Harry is on the farce,” Twitter user @FahtimahNews said.
Meanwhile, some royal fans don’t think that Huck’s statement is accurate. After all, they are not convinced that Markle is worth that much money.
“If you can make $100 million, why are you still living for free in someone else’s house, when they said you could stay until Xmas?” Twitter user @PeteyR13 said.
“Wow… Going ‘private’ could make you millions… Wow… Hope Harry loves the limelight…” Twitter user @ckb138 said.
“Ok, stop it Fox News. You are so full of it. Of course, you never say exactly what she’ll do for the money? As far as her acting skills go, really she’s close to 40 and not really known for her acting,” Twitter user @ireland081 said.
