Michael Schumacher is probably the most well-known Formula 1 driver in the world. He retired in 2012, but just a year after his retirement from racing, he got into an accident that is feared to have crippled him permanently.
Schumacher was suffered from brain damage after hitting his head hard on a rock while skiing in the Alps. The incident happened on Dec. 29, 2013, and since that day, he was never seen in public again.
Schumacher’s condition
The doctors put him into an induced coma so that he can be saved and fortunately, he lived. However, his exact condition is unknown until today as his family continues to refuse and avoid divulging details about how Schumi is doing.
Some of Michael Schumacher’s friends were able to visit him at home where he is believed to being cared of by a group of private doctors and nurses. Sometimes these friends share a bit of info about the F1 star, and most of them say that Schumi is doing well and surrounded by his family but won’t go into detail.
Documentary
A documentary has been filmed for the 50-year-old, and it is expected to provide details about how Schumacher is doing these days finally. The best thing about this is that even his family participated in this movie and they will be telling stories about the famous racer.
Since it is his family who will be sharing the details, fans are assured that the information is accurate and the real thing. Those who are expected to be in the film simply entitled “Schumacher” include Michael’s father Rolf, wife Corinna, his kids, close friends, and colleagues.
This film is also a form of tribute to Schumacher as people believe that it is time to do this for the greatest racing champion of all time. This is also expected to clear up various speculations and assumptions about his health condition.
Release date
Michael Schumacher’s documentary is set to be released in December. Initially, it will be available for German-speaking countries and will be released shortly for the international fans via the streaming site. It is not yet certain if it will be on Netflix, Amazon, or Hulu.
