The National Basketball Association’s free agency 2018 has officially opened this month. While several blockbuster deals have already been inked, the rumor mill is still non-stop for other players hoping to catch a good deal.
Jahlil Okafor Worked Out for Four Teams?
One of the most talked-about players in the NBA free agency 2018 is Jahlil Okafor. And reports are not shy to claim that the 6-foot-11 center is struggling to find a new organization. Some have even speculated that Okafor might completely miss the NBA 2018-19 regular season.
However, if reports are accurate, Okafor might still have some hope. According to Sporting News, at least four NBA teams invited Okafor to work out for them in Las Vegas. This is a good indication that they could be interested in signing a deal with the young center.
In 2015, Jahlil Okafor was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers as the third overall pick. He closed his first regular season in the professional league finishing with 17.5 points, 1.2 blocks, and 7 rebounds per game. Unfortunately, there was a very obvious decline in his performance in the latest season with the Brooklyn Nets, with him garnering only 6.4 points, 0.6 block, and 2.9 rebounds per game.
Six Teams Considering to Sign Nick Young?
Several NBA free agency 2018 rumors are also focused on Nick Young. He entered the free agency this summer after playing one season with the current champs, the Golden State Warriors.
With a superstar lineup, Young might have lost the playing time he enjoyed while he was at the Los Angeles Lakers. In season 2017-18 with the Warriors, Young performed with 7.3 points, 0.5 assist, and 1.6 rebounds per game. Young obviously had a good run with the Lakers in the previous season, bagging 13.2 points, 1 assist, and 2.3 rebounds per game.
While it has been some weeks now since players went to the free agency, rumors suggest that Nick Young have little to worry about. According to reports, at least six NBA teams are interested in acquiring Young, including the Houston Rockets.
