MOBILE, Ala., Oct. 11, 2016 -- Nfina TechnologiesTM Inc., manufacturer of highly reliable servers and storage devices, announces that the Nfina 528i2 Server with industry leading five-year warranty has achieved VMware® certification. Nfina has completed the VMware Hardware Certification Program testing criteria for use with VMware ESXi™ 6.0 and the 528i2 is now listed on the VMware Compatibility Guide. This assures VMware users that the 528i2 Server seamlessly integrates with VMware’s vCenter® management capabilities.
The VMware Hardware Certification Program enables VMware Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program members to provide mutual customers with jointly supported hardware solutions. Virtualizing platform and computing resources with VMware significantly reduces the time it takes to provision custom, multi-tier network topologies and enterprise class services, cuts operating and capital expenditures, and increases deployment flexibility.
The 528i2 is a dual socket server with eight 2.5” drive bays and is designed to be a performance server. It has dual power supplies, utilizes best in class components, and offers numerous storage and processor options including SSD drives and caching RAID. This flexibility makes it more than capable of meeting the demands of a heavily virtualized computing environment. Like all Nfina products, the 528i2 delivers high performance, extreme fault-tolerance and high reliability at a remarkably affordable price. Learn more about the 528i2 here.
Nfina previously announced that its 324i2 value server had achieved VMware certification. Now Nfina adds a performance server with VMware certification in the 528i2. VMware users now have a choice of servers with a five-year warranty that will meet requirements ranging from a basic value server to a performance hypervisor.
“The 528i2 server is our second server to earn VMware certification,” said Warren Nicholson, CEO of Nfina Technologies. “We are actively working on securing VMware certification on our other products as well, look for more announcements very soon. The relationship between VMware and Nfina will deliver the power of VMware virtualization technology along with Nfina’s reputation for building high-performance, reliable, fault tolerant, and energy efficient computing products at affordable prices.
