Tech enthusiasts are skeptical of a purported OnePlus 13 render circulating online, questioning its authenticity. While speculation mounts about the device's redesign, experts urge caution before accepting such leaks.
Evaluating the Credibility of OnePlus 13 Renders: Redesign Rumors and Potential Insights
A sketch resembling this render was originally reported to be one of the company's upcoming Ace phones, as per Android Headlines. In addition, it does not appear particularly credible. It looks like something a designer put together and pushed out.
Of course, there is the possibility that we are mistaken, but the OnePlus 13 is not expected to arrive until January of next year. The CAD-based renders are not yet available, leading to the possibility that the image is not genuine.
However, the OnePlus 13 is expected to undergo a complete redesign. Its rear camera module will look very different than it did in the last few years. So, who knows, maybe we'll see something similar?
The render shown here features three vertically aligned cameras, with the middle one being the largest. For whatever reason, that camera has a green circle around it, with the Hasselblad branding beneath it.
An LED flash is visible next to the camera island, and the company's logo is on the back. The physical buttons are located on the right-hand side. However, the volume rocker buttons appear to be quite long.
The backplate is mostly flat, with slight curves towards the frame on all sides. That render comes from OnePlus Clud, which is not a typical source of leaks. So, take this image with a grain of salt because it's entirely possible it's not real.
Excitement Mounts as OnePlus Teases Redesigned OnePlus 13 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4
The OnePlus 13 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and, as previously stated, will undergo a redesign. We don't know what OnePlus is planning at this time.
