There have been a lot of leaks involving the OnePlus 7 and another one has been added to the pile. According to The Inquirer, a new image has been released by an accessory maker that appears to confirm the previous design speculations of the upcoming device.
The rendering showed that the OnePlus 7 will come in three different colors called Black Yellow, Black Purple, and Cyan Grey. The image also showed the notchless screen of the handset, which if proven true, will be quite popular among those who aren’t a fan of the notch feature.
As for those asking where the front-facing camera has been relocated, the manufacturer of OnePlus 7 has allegedly placed it on top of the device as a pop-up snapper. Case designs regarding this new feature have also made its way into the web, appearing to confirm all these changes for the series.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 7 is speculated to run the Snapdragon 855 with 6-12 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, and a 4,000 mAH battery. Turning the handset over will reveal three snappers lined up vertically on the center with respective capabilities of 48 MP, 20 MP, and 16 MP.
Below the OnePlus 7 are its type-c USB port, a loudspeaker, and a microphone. And as can be expected, the headphone jack has not made its return as the company is moving forward to forego the jack in the future.
Another feature that will not be included in OnePlus 7 is wireless charging. CEO Pete Lau previously said that technology surrounding this feature has not evolved into a significant headway, arguing that the fastest way to charge a smartphone is still traditional charging.
However, Lau did say that they’re working in developing this feature although he did not reveal their progress regarding their endeavor. As for when OnePlus 7 will hit the market, it’s being speculated to come out this June.
