After more than a year of hiatus since the third season of the anime series concluded, “Overlord” season 4 remains one of the most awaited shows. However, avid fans of the franchise are likely seeing the release of the light novel’s 14th installment first before the return of the anime adaptation.

The next part of the original series will be released on March 12. The teaser confirms the struggles of the Sorcerer Kingdom will only become more challenging with Prince Zanack, Blue Rose, and Brain in the frontlines.
Unfortunately, “Overlord” season 4 is still not officially confirmed, leaving the fate of the anime series in limbo for now. However, the continuing support from fans around the world makes it impossible for the series to be canceled. The pace at which new light novel source materials are getting released has noticeably slowed down, though. This might also affect the release dates of “Overlord” season 4 and future anime seasons.

“Overlord” season 4 would start with Ainz trying to navigate his new responsibilities as a leader of the Sorcerer Kingdom. It would not be as easy as he anticipated, especially since he is admittedly not that knowledgeable when it comes to making and implementing laws.
