The Netflix original series starring Jason Bateman has been renewed but “Ozark” season 3 might not premiere until summer 2019. Meanwhile, the actor teased that he is “concerned” about his character, Marty.
Bateman confirmed the production of “Ozark” season 3 through a Twitter update. While the actor says he is happy Netflix ordered another installment of “Ozark,” Bateman said he is worried about Marty.

Like the first two installments, “Ozark” season 3 is expected to have 10 episodes. The series renewal was also announced just a little over a month after season 2 started streaming.
It is still too early to have a date for “Ozark” season 3’s official debut. But considering that Netflix ordered the third season immediately, there might not be significant changes in its release date cycle. With that, the next season is likely coming out in summer 2019.
Aside from Bateman, other main cast members are expected to reprise their roles in “Ozark” season 3. These include Bateman’s onscreen family members — his wife Wendy (Laura Linney) and children Charlotte (Sofia Hublitz) and Jonah (Skylar Gaertner).
Teasers for “Ozark” season 3 will most likely be released within a month before its official premiere next year. But, based on the events in season 2, fans may have an inkling of the plot twists to be explored.
Every character was left with an ordeal to face when season 2 ended. But, it is safe to assume, at the center of it all in “Ozark” season 3 will be the upcoming stories about the Byrdes.
Marty and Wendy had a fair share of strife on who gets to decide for their crime empire and their family. While divorce is always an option in “Ozark” season 3, the two have been together through all these crimes and chaos and they could be better off if they stay together.
However, season 2 might have also foreshadowed Wendy’s individual plans after establishing a direct line to the drug cartel. Seeing her secretly become a competitor to Marty’s money laundering operations will certainly be a spectacle for “Ozark” season 3.
