‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 7’s episode 16, titled “The Glove That Rocks the Cradle,” is set to follow the Liars as they learn about the origins of A.D.’s deadly game. Meanwhile, Hanna is set to learn the truth from Lucas.
The lengthy synopsis for “The Glove That Rocks the Cradle” posted on TV Guide reads, “Det. Furey (Nicholas Gonzalez) closes in on uncovering what happened to Archer Dunhill (Huw Collins); the Liars team up to protect one of their own;
Hanna (Ashley Benson) struggles with the idea that Lucas (Brendan Robinson) might be connected to A.D.; Emily (Shay Mitchell) surprises Ali (Sasha Pieterse) with a heartfelt gesture that is undone by A.D. machinations; and the Liars gain insight into where the idea for the game originated.”
The upcoming episode is set to follow Detective Marco Furey finally coming close to discovering the truth about Archer’s death while the Liars band together to protect one of their own.
The promo opens to Marco interrogating Spencer (Troian Bellisario). He asks, “Do you remember a joke you made about burying a body?” The scene then cuts to the Liars digging deep holes for a victim. It seems that Spencer is adamant about keeping the secret intact despite Marco’s efforts in squeezing the truth out of her.
By the end of the promo, the Liars then head to Lucas’ house after suspecting him of being connected to A.D. Lucas then tells Hanna the real reason why she was tortured.
It seems that Hanna will have a hard time accepting the possibility of Lucas’ link to A.D. even though new evidence points to him being guilty. According to International Business Times, the previous episode titled "In the Eye Abides the Heart" showed Hanna attempting to prove Lucas’ innocence. However, it seems that the upcoming episode will push her further in the other direction.
‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 7’s episode 16, titled “The Glove That Rocks the Cradle,” is scheduled to air on Freeform on May 30, 2017. It was directed by Paula Hunziker and written by Maya Goldsmith. It will be followed by episode 17, titled "Driving Miss Crazy," directed by Oliver Goldstick, written by Oliver Goldstick & Francesca Rollins, and scheduled to be released on June 6.
