As “Pretty Little Liars” is set to conclude sometime this year, there have been rumors of surprises that fans would be delighted to hear.
According to Christian Post, the sneak peek for episode title “Playtime” showed the girls receiving a huge black box from the mysterious killer. Serious creator I Marlene King already revealed to a selected press that the box contained a board game in the package that is so deadly it would put the lives of the Liars in jeopardy.
King teased, "It's a board game that is created by 'A,' and he forces the PLLs to play this game in the final 10 episodes... The stakes are incredibly high. This is the most shocking, the most romantic, the most deadly season."
Meanwhile, Capital FM said the last season would also feature musical number and a time jump. These intricate plot devices are set to showcase the range of talent between actors behind the Liars characters. The online website revealed that there will be a one-year jump forward prior to the end of the show.
But perhaps the biggest spoiler is that the show’s producers said there is always a possibility for a reunion movie. Although it hasn’t been set in stone yet, producers are open to bringing the gang back in some form in the not so distant future. Given the actors’ busy schedules, a movie would be the most viable option.
“We will bring back this cast and girls together at some point… maybe not in two years but soon,” the producers added.
