“Rainbow Six Siege: Ember Rise” is the game’s Year 4 fall season or third expansion offering for the popular online tactical shooter title. It is expected to be released this month with two new Operators and a reworked map among other gameplay features.

The new gameplay contents are set to go live this month, but Ubisoft has yet to make an announcement. “Rainbow Six Siege: Ember Rise” is still in the test servers with the latest patch notes released on Thursday.
Several gameplay issues are still being reported within the last 24 hours. It is unknown if all these bugs are widespread or isolated cases. Depending on several factors, these recent bug reports may or may not affect the official release date of “Rainbow Six Siege: Ember Rise.”
‘Rainbow Six Siege: Ember Rise’ Operators, Map: Amaru and Goyo arrive with reworked Kanal
Just like in previous seasonal contents, the “Rainbow Six Siege: Ember Rise” will introduce two new Operators that each has a distinct set of skills and weapons. For the Year 4 Season 3 content, the new Operators are named Amaru and Goyo who hails from Peru and Mexico, respectively.
As expected, developers introduce a balanced dynamic for the “Rainbow Six Siege: Ember Rise” Operators. Goyo is a defensive expert, while Amaru is best utilized for attacks. As a defender, Goyo’s choice of gadget is the Volcan Shield. Players should not let its appearance fool them because the Volcan Shield does more than just give cover or block pathways. It is a deployable shield specifically designed to hold various types of explosives, so when anyone gets curious to check it out, Goyo is at a distance to activate the fire.
Amaru’s backstory in “Rainbow Six Siege: Ember Rise” includes the invention of her weapon the Garra Hook. Even when the enemies are hidden in a tall structure, the Garra Hook allows her to rappel her way up to a window and catch any defenders by surprise.
Another highlight content for “Rainbow Six Siege: Ember Rise” is the reinvention of the game map called Kanal. One of the changes applied to the map is the addition of a second bridge that may not sound like a huge deal, but it immediately increases the space where attackers and defenders can move and challenges teams to employ better strategies to cover more entry points.
