Rebel Wilson has lost some weight, but while there are people who praised her for the slimmer frame, there were others who cannot just be happy for her. These individuals chose to criticize and even accuse her of something she did not do, like editing her pictures to look thinner.

Fans were stunned when Rebel Wilson updated her social media with some of her photos. Those were taken during a magazine photo shoot and everyone can see how dramatic her weight loss was.

The “Pitch Perfect” actress has always been on the heavier side, and even her roles in films were mostly those of chubby cute women. In 2016, Rebel Wilson started to lose weight and disclosed that she shed almost 40 pounds through exercise and proper dieting. She continued with her routine and is now much slimmer than ever before.

Although she is still a bit overweight, her weight loss today is remarkable. With her thinner frame, she appeared on the cover of Vogue Australia in May. Many thought her photos were photoshopped and she received hurtful messages, The Independent reported.

Rebel Wilson hit back at the body-shamers and denied that her pictures were edited. To prove it, the actress released a side-by-side image of herself and the magazine cover.

She also wrote, “Oh and just so you can see the raw v’s the magazine shot, I took a monitor photo myself on the day of the shoot! So please don’t carry on that these shots are heavily photoshopped because they’re not!”

Previously, Rebel Wilson shared how she managed to shed some pounds. “I exercise like a mofo,” she told E! News. “I do personal training like five times a week. I also love playing tennis. I’m a beast on the court.”

Meanwhile, Rebel Wilson was ordered to hand back the $4.2 million payouts that she initially received from Bauer Media for the defamation case she filed last year, Metro reported. The court determined that she was awarded an excessive amount after the media company appealed the decision.
