The latest Galaxy S24 FE leak reveals a broader and taller design, Wi-Fi 6E capabilities, and reverse wireless charging, positioning Samsung's upcoming budget phone as a strong contender ahead of its rumored October launch.
Galaxy S24 FE Rumored to Arrive Soon After FCC Spotting
The recent FCC detection of the Galaxy S24 FE has sent the rumor mill ablaze regarding the imminent release of Samsung's cheap S series phone.
The product is the South Korean tech company's answer to flagship phones—that is, reasonably priced devices with premium functionality. A new leak, confirmed by WCCFTECH, provides some important insights and insight into what the inexpensive phone might include, although information on the forthcoming handset is still scarce.
October Launch Anticipated for Galaxy S24 FE
The S4 FE's recent appearance on the FCC listing provides more confirmation that the budget-friendly smartphone is currently under development, is expected to be released shortly, and could be available in the October release window.
Speculation about the forthcoming FE version has focused on its bigger screen and increased peak brightness; now, a leaker has revealed the phone's dimensions, adding further mystery to the planned FE release.
Galaxy S24 FE to Feature Larger Dimensions
Some important information about the S24 FE has been disclosed by a tipster on X (previously Twitter), who has also given a picture that includes the measurements.
The post claims that the FE model's dimensions are 162 mm x 77.3 mm, making it broader and taller than the Galaxy S24, a cheap phone, which measures 147 mm x 70.6 mm. This leads us to believe that the phone may have a more squared-off form factor, like the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the S25 series.
According to rumors, the Galaxy S24 FE will supposedly have 9W reverse wireless charging, which will make charging other devices wirelessly a breeze. It also supposedly has extended charging capabilities.
Wi-Fi 6E and Reverse Wireless Charging Expected on S24 FE
The extensive coverage is supposedly topped off with Wi-Fi 6E, an upgraded version of Wi-Fi 6 that promises faster speeds and less latency, all in an effort to provide a better connectivity experience.
Rumor has it that the inexpensive phone will be powered by an Exynos 2400e chipset and come with a triple camera system. More data will most certainly surface before the formal release, but based on previous leaks and FCC spotting, the launch appears to be imminent.
